Laurel Hill Forest Lodge staff has a thorough knowledge of the surrounding forests, private channel two-way radio coverage of the entire area, knowledge of the Hume and Hovell Walking Track, and drop off, pickup and back-up facilities to ensure a well managed, safe and enjoyable learning experience for students, doing their Bronze, Silver, Gold expeditions and Gold Residental component.

Laurel Hill forest Lodge provide safe, professional and fun adventure activities for all students.
Laurel hill forest lodge aim to expose individuals to new experiences that will contribute to personal development, self esteem and confidence.
Their specially selected activities will increase mutual support, co-operation and bonding within the group and with teachers and all in the context of having heaps of fun in and out of school environment.

All these are values and qualities from which the students greatly benefit through the rest of their schooling and into their working careers.
Some of the activities we can offer are:
Initiative Games: A series of flexible scenarios to provide personal development concepts in a fun, playfull and outdoor environment
Confidence Course: This course will weave its way through the bush meeting various obstacles and challenges that promote teamwork and communication
Orienteering/Navigation: This course will teach map and compass skills required for the safe bush-craft
Overnight camp: In conjunction with orienteering/Navigation course. This program consists of an overnight camp and night activities

National Parks Discovery Program
National Parks Discovery Program is an ideal program for students from primary to secondary school.
Discovery Programs are delivered by professional, trained and qualified National Parks and Wildlife Service staff who have developed specialist skills in cultural and environmental education.
The Discovery Programs are designed to ensure curriculum outcomes are achieved but at the same time deliver hands-on activities. This ensures an enjoyable, fun and quality learning experience for students.
The program offers a large range of subject topics including the environment, Aboriginal culture and the pioneering history of the NSW High Country.
